Scalp Med Symptoms
I have been a long time sufferer of serious scalp issues. It started with what seemed to be a very simple case of dandruff that I looked for scalp med shampoo to cure the problem. For several years I used a variety of shampoo with scalp med to keep up with the dandruff. Using one scalp med shampoo consistently didn't work very well hence the diversity. After several years the shampoos seemed to diminish in effectiveness. The doctor gave me a referral to the derm clinic. The dermatologist told me that I could start with some low level scalp med that should reduce the flakes and not damage the skin. The formula he gave me worked for a short time of several months. My wife started looking for over the counter scalp med and found several items that we tried. The one that worked the best was skin cap with zinc. It was expensive but it worked very well. Then the United States pulled it from the shelves because it was highly damaging to healthy skin and could result in severe problems. Since then I have had scalp med in about 10 different variants and none of them really work.
Scalp Med Choices
If you are faced with scalp issues the choice of scalp med will depend on the severity of your scalp condition, your hair style and the volume of hair you have. You may also have choices based on when you apply the med. One of the best choices is an aerosol can of scalpmed that sprays directly onto the spots on your head that are in need of the medications. There are also salves and ointments that can be applied but they are messy and greasy and ruin hairstyles, clothes and bedding. You may also have a choice of liquid scalp med that still make a mess of hair and are best applied and bed time than topped with a shower cap to protect your pillows. Each individual responds to scalp med differently and you will need to work with your physician to find the right blend to maximize the benefit.
